Experienced recruiters are allowed to hold onto all the candidates in the database, even if they haven't built a relationship with them. Starting as a new recruiter is nearly impossible because the CEO favors those who have been with the company the longest, and the recruiting manager simply goes along with his actions, without offering support. Commissions are not transparent—you receive commission payments without any explanation of how your gross margin is calculated. Client Managers constantly change the requirements for jobs and always prioritize the facilities over the recruiters. The recruiting manager doesn't back you when it comes to challenging Client Managers about the quality of jobs. The system is inefficient and involves many manual processes, making it harder to fill positions. We used to recruit nationwide, but now we’re limited to only four states in the Northeast.
