Freedom to try your own methods of acquiring new business. CEO and CTO are great but were brought down by a poor management hire on the sales team.

Lack of support from management, no solid methods or structure to expand into new markets

Supportive, intelligent, and genuine leadership. Fully remote.

Cons

Remote work means less interaction with other employees. I only interact with a handful of people a week.

Pros

Truly fantastic coworkers who care about the mission Recognition and praise in public meetings for high-impact work Flexible schedule and good remote culture until recent management shift

Cons

Poor communication and inconsistent expectations from leadership No formal improvement plan or ongoing feedback after initial performance concerns Abrupt “for cause” termination despite years of contributions and no prior issues Ticket metrics used as justification were one-size-fits-all and failed to account for complexity or project-based work Lack of transparency around workload distribution and availability of support tickets Feels like a cost-saving layoff disguised as a performance issue Recent hiring of older and pushing out younger tenured experience feels like a cash grab
