Pros
Stable business and sales. A lot of funding in hand. Bar is really low for customers to feel happy about the product.
Cons
No clear strategy or direction—just pressure without the support to match. The product experience is visibly slipping, yet there doesn’t seem to be a practical plan (or the ability) to correct course. Decisions also appear disconnected from real customer insight and day-to-day product context driving them. On top of that, the culture tolerates toxic leadership behavior. The amount of top-down decisions and constant mind-changing is absurd. There’s a reason why talents cannot be retained. Diversity is celebrated, but the same profile of demographics sits in c-suites. The recent team-day was literally running presentations by the same demographics talking at you. One more thing: glowing 5-star reviews always seemed to pop up right after negative ones. Use your judgement of the actual reviews about what it’s like working here.
