Staff members are scrambling to get out of here - Anonymous employee Cleveland State Employee Review

No longer feels like a college, now its runs like a corporation. Very top heavy....tons of VPs hired in at 6 figures while staff make 40K and can't get raises. Very little promotion from within, most jobs filled by outsiders. The SEIU Union does nothing to prevent this. Staff moral is at all time low. Most are trying to get jobs elsewhere and get out. Many departments run by faculty who have been professional students for years and have never worked real jobs. And no one really cares enough to find out right answers for students, hence the reason students are given several different answers.
