Pros

Portland-based employees have the option to work in-office and enjoy provided snacks. The company also offers insurance benefits and remote work options. For fully remote roles, workloads and oversight can be limited, which may allow some employees to manage additional commitments during standard work hours.

Cons

In my opinion, there were concerning patterns of age bias during my tenure at the company. After a change in sales leadership, I observed that several high-performing account executives over the age of 40 were terminated and subsequently replaced by significantly younger employees 2 months later. This pattern raised concerns about equitable treatment and decision-making. The mangers tend to hire people who are the same race as them in my opinion. The directors overseeing sales, business development, corporate sponsorships, and marketing appeared to share very similar backgrounds, and in my opinion, hiring and promotion decisions reflected this lack of diversity.During my time there, I experienced and witnessed behavior from some sales and business development managers that felt dishonest and unprofessional. In particular, I observed instances where business development managers appeared to interfere with opportunities for minority account executives, seemingly to favor members of their own teams for advancement.Overall, in my opinion, the business development environment was highly political and distrustful. Success often seemed dependent on being aligned with a preferred group rather than on performance. I found the environment discouraging and difficult to navigate, especially for those outside of that group.I also observed situations where business development representatives—whose role was to support account executives by scheduling meetings—failed to do so in a way that appeared intentional. In my opinion, this behavior negatively impacted account executives’ performance and, in some cases, placed their roles at risk. I did not feel that management addressed or discouraged this conduct, because the mangers supported the gaslighting, politics, and behind-the-scenes maneuvering often outweigh collaboration in my opinion which contributed to a vile sales culture supported by business development mangers and sales managers in my opinion. In my opinion , the business development representatives will purposely set you up to take your job . As an example, I have seen business development representatives whose job is to schedule meetings purposely not schedule meetings for account executives in an effort to get them fired so they can move into their roles. The managers support this evil conduct in my opinion especially if it someone of the same race. As an example there could be wannabee actresses in business development or sales who desperately want to steal your job as an account executive and they will sabotage your employment and lie about you knowing their managers will help them in setting you up in my opinion. In my experience, sales leadership often dismissed concerns by talking over employees or minimizing feedback, making it difficult to raise issues and responding with adverse actions. Additionally, the business development department appeared, in my observation, to lack a genuine commitment to inclusion. Finally, I found it notable that many positive reviews of the company appeared unusually generic, or written by chat gpt leading me to question their authenticity. One of the things I wondered is why some sales mangers only last four months in previous roles and why some BDR managers can plot against people on other teams and conceal their behavior with a smile on their face. In my opinion everyone on the sales leadership team is very fake. In my opinion the male account executives agree with everything the managers say to be able to keep their jobs. In my opinion Clealryrated is the most terrible company in the world in my opinion.

Pros

- Deductible reimbursement - Unlimited PTO - Strong sense of camaraderie between fellow employees to combat leadership pitfalls. - Honestly if you just want to keep your head down, do the work, hate confrontation, and will comply with whatever you're told to do without questions or concerns, this would be a good fit.

Cons

- Every single member of leadership, including VPs, have been at the company for less than 2 years. They have expressed little interest in learning from tenured employees. This has lead to frustration and extremely high turnover. -Leadership have little to no understanding of the product. Even though they often rely on lower level employees for constant guidance, they are quick to criticize those same employees for performance issues in areas they themselves didn’t seem to understand. -A common attitude across leaders of departments could be summed up as, “That’s not my job,” which created a fairly uncooperative environment. - Words like "emotional" and "desperate" have been used to describe female employees in meetings (with an audience) when they've asked for help. Exclusionary mentality has replaced a company that was once dedicated to DE&I initiatives. -There is no HR department. Any potential criticism you make or concern you voice puts you at risk. - Half of the positive reviews feel AI generated (check out the em dashes)
