Pros
Flexibility with work schedule and time off. Benefits are decent and pretty good support from leadership.
Cons
The job in itself is not worth the $16/hr + very little commission you can potentially get. Half the calls you get are not hot leads. It can be a good sale if you’re able to flip the call into a sales opportunity but it can be hard when someone is only calling about tech issues, billing or whatever else non related to a solid sales call. They grade you so strategically to a T so if you slip up and forget to read a statement it’ll count against you until they can ultimately fire you because of it. They also take 25% off your commission because of that and high commission is hard to get in itself unless you get a lot of hot lead calls which is also unfair because it seems more seasoned agents get the hot calls while others struggle to get any good calls for the entire week. It definitely fluctuates so the influx and type of calls you’re getting that week can make it more challenging to gain higher commissions or a decent amount of money weekly. Effort could be rewarded more in this role but I guess their process and what you’re being graded on just comes with the nature of the job. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re really desperate but to each is own. If you can handle and thrive in this type of environment go right ahead.
