Pros
Once you start working at your sites, the job is relaxed, and you feel like your own boss. The teachers at the primary schools are amiable and sociable. You can leave as early as 3 pm because nobody oversees what you're up too, as long as you resolve a few tickets per day it's all good.
Cons
The senior engineers are very unprofessional and are not very skilled. There is no induction and no way of knowing who your real manager is, senior engineers, like to pretend to be your manager during projects. CTS assumes it's acceptable to randomly send London based engineers to Slough on short notice, short notice as in your sent a spontaneous email on Friday night to go to a random school in Slough on Monday morning. My contract did not mention travel to sites outside of London. During my second week CTS assigned me to go to Slough, after spending two consecutive weeks there I assumed I would be there for the entire month, so I bought a travel card, on the third week I get sent to Harrow, which is just great. There was no reimbursement for my wasted travel card or any travel reimbursement. When I resigned, the CEO didn't even know how long I had been working there for and tried to make me pay for the DBS check.
