The nature of startups is that they can be unstructured at times - not for those looking a very structured way of working.

Great experience for learning new things. I was working towards my executive MBA. The boss was understanding to my flexible hours. The company moved me from Operations to Marketing to accommodate my needs. My salary grew to 3 x in 18 months.

The expectations of the management were high and therefore, required individuals to work hard. As it was a startup, therefore employees had to learn on the job.
