Pros
Salary and benefits are good. Clariant is also not very structured in procedures. So if you like to take charge and lead the way, there are not many to stop you.
Cons
Company is headquartered in Switzerland. The Swiss run the company like a bank. If you think America is focused on short term goals wait till you work for the Swiss. Clariant does not demonstrate much regard for their employees. Lots of petty rules which are supposed to streamline the process but really slow you down. Senior management at the board level is very poor and the company has been declining in financial strength for many years.
