Pros

Great office space and benefits.

Cons

The company's promotion practices appear to prioritize tenure over merit, educational qualifications, or skillset. This approach contributes to a toxic work environment where year-end bonuses seem to be influenced more by personal rapport with management than by objective performance metrics.

Pros

Open Communication - City Ventures encourages direct communication from field level employees to the President of Homebuilding. Transparent business practices; all the cards are laid out on the table where teams know the short-term and long-term business plans. Working with employees across all functions feels like working with family. Work/Life balance is an important part of the culture. Consistently striving to get better.

Cons

At times, clearer procedures would be appreciated. We are encouraged to run the business as our own; I would not like so many procedures put in place that our ability to run our business would be reduced.

Pros

My experience at City Ventures has been nothing short of exceptional. The company has fostered a culture that blends hard work, dedication, and collaboration at every level of the organization. What makes City Ventures truly stand out is its genuine commitment to valuing employees not only for the contributions they bring to the workplace, but also as individuals beyond it. Colleagues consistently go above and beyond to support one another, creating an environment where teamwork thrives and successes are celebrated collectively.
