Pros

Great on going training and it guides you to be a good B2B closer

Cons

Very unethical business. Cintas purposely shorten the quantity of service that customers agreed to pay on weekly business. They forced customers to sign a 5 year contract but always raise their service fees and prices during the contract term. Not only that, they seldomly replace the floor mats. Customers pay weekly service to have a fresh clean floor mats. What Cintas does, the drivers will roll the mats out of the customer's building, then they pretend to grab a fresh clean mats from their truck but only to bring in the same old and dirty mats back inside. Additionally the GM and plant managers from each distribution mandate to each truck only be filled at a maximum of 80% of the actuall inventory. Needless to say, none of the customers get a 100% of what they are paying for their weekly service. However, when customers realized that they are short with their bar towels or aprons and etc, Cintas will be more than happy to increase the quantity and charge them with more money. Can sales reps make money? Absolutely. Good reps can make somewhere between $90-$120k a year. Average rep about $70-85k a year. HOWEVER, can they sleep at night for knowing they cheated their customers on daily basis??? Another thing, the management people. They are very micromanage. They are super anal with how many dials do you make during "phone blocks". How many appointments a week do you secured. And they never satisfy at your accomplishments. It's never enough at Cintas.

Pros

The Commission is great. You can make good money in this place.

Cons

While the pay is good, the culture here is not. It is incredibly restrictive. It is very much a “Do what I want you to do, how I want you to do it, and when I want you to do it” management style. They constantly remind you of how much money you can make there which gets annoying after a while. The service team and the sales team are constantly at odds. Not just Cintas, but the industry in general is very sleazy, much like a car dealership. They screw over their smaller customers with enormous year over year price increases. I know a particular salesperson who is having a lot of success their who has no problem lying to his customers, and never answering their calls when the problems come. As long as he keeps the deals coming Cintas does not care. Corporate greed is on full display at Cintas. The Management Development program for college graduates seems like a great opportunity. If you are a young college graduate and you get the opportunity, I would recommend that.
