Pros
* Learning opportunities * Benefits - Health, Dental, Vision, Retirement, PTO (decent amount given) * Good entry-level management position.
Cons
* Work-life balance can be rather hard; the position is responsible for coverage of routes, some easy days for sure - however, some very late nights as well. Said to expect 50 hours weekly - not unusual to have 60+. * "Advancement" - position openings are often filled before actually filled. If you are not "tapped on the shoulder," more than likely you will not be given a fair chance. * Pay for supervisors is rather low for the amount of work that is given to the position. Responsibilities are often just handed to this position as a catch-all. Most SSR's will make more or very close to base pay and work much less hours. * Paternal leave is 2 weeks - have to use PTO if anything longer.
