Pros

-Rotating remote schedule(fully remote during COVID19) -Because ChurnZero integrates with so many different platforms, you're pretty much guaranteed to learn how different CRMs, Ticketing Tools, and financial data systems work -Because ChurnZero serves other SaaS companies, it's pretty easy to build up your own professional network pretty quickly

Cons

-Very steep learning curve if you're not very technical or don't have a technical background -As I got up to speed, I was afraid to ask questions sometimes because of how condescending other members of my team would be when I asked them. I was frequently talked down to and made to feel stupid for asking simple questions both publicly in slack channels as well as in 1:1s with team leads and in private messages on Slack. -The training isn't great, while they do try to teach you the information on how the platform works and integrates with others, it's A LOT of information to retain and if it doesn't fit your learning style you're basically on your own -No real way to air grievances, HR doesn't seem to be all that trustworthy and 1:1's are basically worthless -They will lowball you on compensation if you let them -While this isn't unique to ChurnZero and really is a problem across the entire tech industry, it is ironic that a company like CZ that wants to be seen as leader and innovator in the space still has such a bad diversity problem. They have almost no employees that are people of color and it doesn't seem to be a priority to rectify that either. -CEO and CCO/CPO don't really seem to know about the dynamic going on within some of the teams -The CCO and CPO is the same person and given the issues I'm not sure she always has the bandwidth to address them properly -Double standards in how your performance is evaluated depending on your team lead

I appreciate the feedback on your time at ChurnZero and understand it was not a good fit. As the company moves past startup to growth stage, we are investing to improve several of the areas you mention. This includes internal training (esp to support the high standards we have for our Customer Success team given our role in the ecosystem), hiring practices to further expand the diversity of our team, and leadership training for our managers. You can always contact me directly if you would like to discuss more, or email employeefeedback@churnzero.net if you prefer. - You Mon

Pros

Compassionate leaders, great people, and true desire both to make the product better and to positively impact users. Flexibility with time off, etc, good pay and benefits

Cons

Time expectations and work/life balance likely vary across teams, and I can't speak for every department.

Pros

ChurnZero is a place where driven, thoughtful people come together to do meaningful work. The team is collaborative, accountable, and genuinely invested in helping customers succeed. There is a strong sense of ownership across the organization, and leadership is engaged, accessible, and focused on building something that lasts. It is an environment where you can grow, take on real responsibility, and be surrounded by people who challenge you in the best way.

Cons

There is a Washington, DC office where local employees gather 1–2 times per week, which is a great opportunity for in-person connection for those nearby. Not everyone is able to take advantage of that, and there are currently no company-wide in-person gatherings, so building relationships across the full team takes more intention.
