Christensen Group is a small company which allows for flexibility and work/home life balance.
Cons
Nepotism runs rampant - or at least there's the appearance of it. Employees often are not told of major news that relates directly to them until announcements go out to the entire company. Managers play favorites big time, which though this happens everywhere, the fact isn't even attempted to be hidden or downplayed here. Management seems to pick and choose whom to enforce rules with and allow certain employees to be downright rude and nasty while disregarding company policies regarding attendance, etc. (See previous: Favorites) While I don't believe that the senior management would say that they are behaving in this manner, employees find it very hard to believe when certain behaviors are reported time and again and no remedy is sought by management. General feeling of a lack of career advancement opportunities and concern that younger employees use this company as a training grounds and then move on to better paying careers with more opportunities to grow. Operations manager is used in an HR capacity which is a gross mis-use, as there is a lack of confidentiality and over-sharing.
