Pros
Honestly, few no worth mentioning
Cons
Honestly, this has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my career as a Senior Business Analyst.
There is absolutely no proper planning when it comes to projects. Estimations are unrealistic, deadlines are thrown around without any real understanding of the work involved, and teams are constantly set up to fail. It feels like the company is just reacting to problems instead of planning ahead.
Resource management is equally poor. Teams are understaffed, but expectations keep increasing. Instead of fixing the root issues, the pressure is passed directly onto employees.
Work-life balance is practically non-existent. Weekend work is not an exception — it becomes an expectation. There’s an unspoken pressure to always be available, which quickly leads to burnout.
The internal politics make things even worse. Decisions are not based on logic or merit but on favoritism and unnecessary hierarchy. This creates a toxic environment where productivity and morale both take a hit.
What’s most disappointing is the lack of accountability from management. There is very little support when things go wrong, and instead of improving processes, the blame often falls on the team doing the actual work.
Zero proper planning or realistic estimation
• Constant work pressure and chaotic execution
• No respect for personal time (weekend work expected)
• Understaffed teams with unrealistic expectations
• Toxic internal politics
• Poor leadership and lack of accountability
