Pros
The training and clinical community were all very excellent until all of middle management fled at the same time due to upper management's total and utter mismanagement of agency's resources and refusal to take accountability for their shortcomings or listen to any feedback about restructuring.
Cons
Upper management does not value the people doing the actual clinical work, the work we do, or the clients we serve; they only care about money. They underpay, overwork, exploit, and corner us into providing a quality of client care that is frankly unacceptable. When we push back, they point fingers at everybody except themselves, bully, threaten, and treat everybody as if we are easily replaceable. In reality, however, the pay is under comparable agencies, and they have a delusional perspective about the consequences of their negligence and disrespect on staff morale and turnover. They are tyrannical and cannot be reasoned with because they are only concerned about protecting their own paychecks.
