Pros

-Really good culture, I was treated like an adult and as long as I got work done on time I didn't have to punch hours. -great social side, genuinely thought most people in the office were decent people. I had a really good team and we'd go out a lot for lunches, parties etc. -good benefits. -day to day work was interesting -I had 3 managers, 2 of which were really good at their jobs.

Cons

-emphasis on most people being decent, there are a few managers there who aren't nice people and aren't good at their jobs. There were some questionable hires too. -teams were really siloed and kept to themselves, doing cross department projects was a bit of a nightmare as the other departments didn't really care. Even working across teams in the same department was a political minefield sometimes. -I sometimes felt that there was nowhere to advance my career internally unless I made quite a drastic change.

Pros

This place really knew the difference between work and life. Everyone treated each other like family and there are clear paths to career growth.

Pros

- 22 days off a year and work from home options - Bagel Mondays really do make Monday more bearable - Pleasant people - Great salary (though they've had an investment and are going lean and mean, so this may stop)

Cons

- Too many meetings, I suggest making them standing up! - Little communication between departments - No brand to speak of in the U.S. b/c they've neglected it - Slow to react or adopt new technology/ tools that could/would help their teams - Little to no culture in the U.S. Office (the UK office buzzes with productivity, life and young blood -- total opposite in U.S.) - Layers upon layers of inefficiency-- which they are working on reducing (while killing morale) - The distinct feeling that some people are just hiding there and "getting by" - Don't expect a laptop or even a stocked stationary shelf.
