Pros

Meeting some hardworking individuals, learning something new

Cons

Extremely high employee turnover(including Management), Most individuals quit their job in less than 2 years of work. Unbearable heat in the summer, Management is new and overwhelmed which makes it impossible to help their employees succeed. There is a clear transparent difference between the types of positions of work at CNG. You will be treated as such. As an operator or quality you will be favored by management with lenient duties and advancement opportunities. With a laborer position like Material Handling/ Shipping or Erema you will be subjected to disrespect constantly from co-workers and management alike just because of your position in the company. It will not matter if you are the best forklift operator, have an amazing attitude, have to best review score or have never missed a day of work. This type of behavior taught by management in a company is completely insolent and uncivil.

Pros

You work with good people though not all are hard working, most are. The work schedule is what I like the most. The job itself isn't too bad, there's days where it's stressful. Benefits are OK, the pay is DECENT (for operators anyway), you get more with more training. Quarterly bonuses were good for a while now they're hit or miss, but extra money is acceptable. Quarterly Company outings are nice depending on what the shift picks.

Cons

There are cliques and it's a boy's club to an extent (depends on the building and shift). You work 12 hour shifts (not for everyone) The company pushes surveys really hard to improve worklife but it's mostly to make the company look good. The company is PE adjacent The company goes to lengths to "cut costs". Leadership is only receptive to ideas that work immediately or short term "Room for growth" is gatekeeped to an extent. You can be motivated to learn/earn more and either get put to the side, put on lines where you can't learn, or training attention is put to people like. You're not always going to be met halfway in that regard. Mind you, it depends on what shift you're on as well and how long you can be persistent.
