Pros
Although the company is relatively small, it is highly diverse, with designers hailing from various regions including the Middle East, Asia, India, and Europe. Each designer brings unique talents and styles to the team, enriching our creative and open-minded environment with different cultural backgrounds. Our workplace is characterized by a friendly, familial atmosphere. The team is youthful and dynamic, with a spirit of creativity and humor that makes every workday enjoyable and engaging. Despite our size, we serve prestigious clients, including some of the most renowned luxury brands and hospitality companies such as Four Seasons Hotels, Armani Hotels, Elite Group, and Raffles & Fairmont Hotels. Our client base is expanding to include Miami, Paris, and various Arab countries. This allows us to gain valuable experience and enhance our portfolio significantly. The boss treats us exceptionally well and is now prioritizing our work-life balance. As a result, we can now work from home for at least two days a week.
Cons
There was a challenging period when we had a demanding client from a major hotel group. Their excessive requests often required us to work around the clock, negatively impacting our mental health and overall job satisfaction. Even our boss's private life was significantly disrupted by this client. To manage the workload, we sought external support. Unfortunately, the new staff lacked the necessary experience and contributed to a negative work environment with office politics and defamation of colleagues and the company. Fortunately, our boss decided to sever ties with this client, and those disruptive colleagues eventually left. While there is a possibility that they may continue to tarnish our reputation elsewhere, the office politics have subsided. We have returned to a positive and happy work environment. Additionally, we are now attracting more agreeable clients who trust our design expertise and decision-making.
