Pros
Comfortable work load
Relaxed dress code
Flexible schedule
Very good work/ life balance
There is some growth, but it's only available if you are in sales or start at the very entry level and "department hop"
Cons
This company really needs to get with the times. It's trying, kind of, but has a very long way to go. Champion had so much potential in its glory days. Unfortunately that slipped through the hands of the original owner as he handed it down to his children. Current ownership team is clueless to the state of their employees. Veterans are just as miserable as the newer employees. There is NO management. A select few hold a "manager" title but are essentially glorified babysitters. "HR" consists of one of the owners handling payroll. Because there's no HR or processes in place when conflict arises, no one is held accountable for their actions; be them good or bad. There is limited growth, professionally or financially unless you're in outside sales. The culture is toxic. People are not friendly; to the point where others are afraid to approach them. Favoritism runs rampant, so certain individuals are held to different standards than the status quo.
