Pros
The Chameleon product is very robust, I feel comfortable working with customers and advocating to use the service because it actually does what we say it will do. Very straightforward. The product is developing at a very rapid pace, but we're able to keep up with it by adding in additional team members to help share the workload. Where other companies claim "Unlimited PTO" and it translates to "Nobody feels comfortable taking PTO ever", the culture is truly about work-life balance. It's a global company and everyone can set their own working hours, just be available for meetings and generally the same time of day--you know, behave like someone you'd want to work with! Have something come up last minute? Just post in our Slack channel for availability / update your Slack status then take the time you need. Truly a company that values everyone's opinions. I have never seen/heard anyone that provided feedback where it wasn't considered and discussed. Obviously, not all feedback can be incorporated but no opinion is unimportant no matter your role.
Cons
A remote company has a lot of benefits, but I do miss being able to work in person sometimes. After COVID travel restrictions lift more I'd be very eager to meet my coworkers. Currently as we're still in the hiring process I'm busier than I would like to be. (But still, less busy than most previous roles I've had overall)
