Overall good experience - Service Centre Technician Chameleon Innovations Employee Review

Chameleon Innovations was my first job as a welder/fitter. I was with them just over 2 years. They paid me fairly for my level of responsibility and work output. They accommodated for me to be able to finish my welding schooling during the hectic covid times. I have great respect for the shop managers at the time, Merv, Vadim, and Yuri. Much more professional than what I heard of other shops from my colleagues and fellow welding students. Almost all of the team were great to work with.

Most projects would be very disjointed unless they were massive team undertakings that required everyone pitching in at once. The regular production would a lot of the times be bogged down because everyone would be working on different projects, leading to an abundance of partially completed projects sitting around.

The owners of Chameleon care about their employees. They understand the needs of employees to maintain the well-being of themselves and their families. The products, projects and customers are unique, exciting and innovative. The team is filled with good people. Whether you work in production, administration, engineering or sales, you will never get bored and there is always opportunity for employees to obtain more responsibility and remuneration if they have the drive to take on new responsibilities, learn/grow and demonstrate that they can be a leader and a teammate. I have thoroughly enjoyed over a decade of working with this team. I am grateful to the family who founded Chameleon, gave me my first job and allowed me to flourish and grow as a professional.

I have experienced ups and downs over the years as we battled to become a leader in our industries but for the last 5x years, I have only seen a bright future with lots to look forward too.
