Pros

You can try their food during your lunch break for free.

Cons

The owners treat you as a slave. I was working there for a month before the pandemic. They shouted at me all the time, the organisation was terrible, they expected me to know how to prepare all the cocktails by memory in just 3 shifts and be as quick as they. They don't explain you in the trial, but they want you to clean the bathrooms being a waitress/bartender, which I won't assume as part of the specifications of the role. In general, they had the same behaviour with the rest of the staff. They criticised other members of the staff when they were not in and threatened to fire them. They want you to be available 24/7. During the month I was working, they called me to change my rota almost every day, both with the purpose on starting my shift before or cancelling. When I told them it wasn't possible for me to go to work with that short notice (once because I have class and another because they expected me to arrive in half an hour without considering that my commuting was at least an hour), they complained about my commitment and hard work. I was dismissed for calling sick because I was food poisoned. When I told them I was sick they wanted me to work, even though it is against health and safety and also the law.

Pros

Cons

Said up to 14£ pay and only gave 9- extremely unorganised and don’t pay properly- after I left, they paid me 2 months later. Others got payed for trial shift- I didn’t. Manager was so rude and swore at me on my first day- and even pushed me.
