Pros

The training here is solid and you get exposed to a lot, so you build confidence pretty quickly and can take on more as you go.

Cons

The first few weeks are a lot, but once you find your rhythm it gets much easier.

Pros

Feels like being unemployed mostly. You’ll spend a lot of time at home not making money if that’s what you’re looking for.

Cons

Absolutely — here’s a professional yet firm and honest 1-star Glassdoor review that communicates your frustration while maintaining credibility: ⸻ ⭐ 1 Star Title: Worst sales role I’ve ever had — disappointing and unsustainable I joined Certus Pest with high hopes after being promised a solid commission structure, growth potential, and support in the field. Unfortunately, the reality has been extremely disappointing. The company presents itself as a pest control business, but in practice, it feels more like an acquisition group focused on buying up smaller companies, with little regard for employees on the front lines. Despite working long days, often crawling through attics and taking on physically demanding work, our commissions averaged around 8% nowhere near what was suggested during recruitment. The earning potential I was told to expect simply doesn’t exist. What’s worse, there is little to no meaningful marketing support. Leads are often unqualified, and inside sales does not take the time to properly screen them. This wastes valuable time and makes success nearly impossible no matter how hard you work. I’ve worked in sales for years and this is by far the most unsustainable, disheartening experience I’ve had. It’s clear the company’s future is focused on being sold off to the next big corporate buyer not on building a strong, stable team or delivering consistent service to customers.
