Pros
At the time, the Denver office was a fun, productive environment. Branch manager at the time was a very caring individual. CFO and Bill Starkey were wonderful. In my opinion, processors, closers, and underwriters were treated fairly. The culture was fun and conducive to work.
Cons
Salary was extremely low, try $51,000 for a senior underwriter. Bonus was good, but the number of files required to achieve the additional bonus was unrealistic. Once Bill stepped down and John Aspinwall took over, the company seemed to take a downturn.
