Pros
Cerium is a great spot for those that are looking to continually push and challenge themselves to grow and develop. In my personal experience, I was consistently provided with new challenges and opportunities for growth over my 4 years within the organization. When I was first hired I started out in an entry level HR role, and within 2.5 years I was given the opportunity to manage a team of employees. In addition to growth and development, Cerium offers the chance to work with a great group of people. In my 4 years working for the organization, I had the opportunity to collaborate with an incredible group of skilled, intelligent, and overall wonderful employees. The ability to learn from other employees with decades of work experience is a major pro to working at Cerium.
Cons
Employees are expected to contribute to the overall success of the organization. Individuals that are not looking to work hard, collaborate with others, and develop/grow are not a good fit within this organization. The work can be challenging, but also very rewarding.
There is also some tribal knowledge within the company, so continuing to work towards breaking down silos and creating more formal processes in documenting internal processes and procedures is an emphasis across departments.
