Pros
- The people you work with are great. Always willing to help you solve a problem. - Its a great product to support. Helping improve health care is something worth the effort - Not bad benefits and lunch during the week.
Cons
- Not enough days off for the stress we endure. Love how you took away 5 vacation days and made them sick days. How about just giving 5 sick days?! - Major struggle transitioning from a small to medium company which is causing lots of extra stress on the employees and it seems like the company does not care to solve them with any urgency. If I hear "we are working on it" one more time i will loose it. You have know for over two years that employees are over worked. - Because of all of this stress, great employees are leaving like crazy which causes a domino effect. Summary of what is currently happening to the company: Long time hard working employee has become overworked due to growth of the company (great problem to have for job security), employee asks for help by requesting an additional person be hired to help the workload (Two reasons the answer should be yes 1) you have 2 employees who now know the job so that if one is sick or leaves you have backup 2) it makes sure your hardworking employee is happy and keeps working) Actual answer? "No" or "we will look". *Two years later* Hardworking employee REALLY over worked. Can we get some help? "No" or "we are looking". Hard working employee says screw this and leaves. Problems: 1) Employee was the only one who knew years worth of knowledge, 2) No other employee can do the job 3) Other REALLY stressed employees are asked to take over that persons job. Going to hire someone? Yes, but only one person. Wait one person? The person with several years experience couldn't do the job on their own but you are going to hire a new person with no knowledge and expect them to do the same job? "Yes" *only a few months later* New employee leaves because they have no clue what to do and are stressed out. Long term employees leave because they are over worked. Rinse and repeat. Company is in a position where it has more work than ever but less experienced employees than ever before. Nearly the entire experienced work force is actively looking for jobs because its not worth the stress.
