Pros

Not as such for now

Cons

Centralogic – Honest Review (1+ Year Experience) I’ve been working at Centralogic for more than a year, and honestly, the company I joined and the company it is now feel very different. When I joined, things were actually good. There was clarity in work, a proper vision, and the culture was decent. People knew what they were doing, and projects had direction. After the whole AI wave (Claude and all), management has completely lost track. There’s an unrealistic belief that AI can do everything instantly. Because of this, timelines have become ridiculous, and employees are expected to deliver in very short timeframes, which is simply not practical. This leads to constant pressure and extra working hours. Projects now start in a rush without proper planning or clarity. It feels like decisions are being made on hype rather than actual understanding. This over-dependence on AI is going to hurt the company badly in the long run. Pay is below market standards, but the workload is much higher compared to other companies. You’re expected to do more for less, which doesn’t make sense. People in the company are generally good, but your experience completely depends on your manager. There is no consistency—some teams are fine, others are chaotic. There’s also a clear lack of alignment between leadership, which creates confusion across the company. Let me be very clear on one thing: You don’t really need strong coding skills to survive here. If you’re good at talking, managing people, and maintaining relationships with managers, you’ll do well. Technical skills are not the main priority. Also, higher management doesn’t seem to trust employees much, which affects ownership and motivation.

Pros

Flexible work timings Good learning experience only if you are the right person at right place.

Cons

Where to start, management is non existent, the company is not foundationally sound, it was just riding on the initial bull run and now that the bull run is faltering all the underlying problems are coming to surface. To expand on why I mean not foundationally sound Lack of transparency and communication in every single process. -No proper feedback loops for employees to register their grievances. Hiring often done through personal relationships and friendships. Rampant favouritism practised by managers and importance to people are given based on manager's opinion of the person not on technical ability. Promotions are given not on the basis of work done or technical ability but on the vibe people give or personal relations with managers/founders. No proper mechanism for increments or awarding projects. Complete financial mismanagement on which projects/people/things to invest money in. Vanity projects introduced which are complete money sink for God knows why. Couldn't see the writing on the wall that AI is going to force downsize teams still kept on hiring and adding offices. Marketing team is clueless, and don't even have a faint idea what marketing entails at this scale. And most importantly they have ammassed a large amount of non working people which they don't downsize for moral grand staging or what I don't know. Then there's the bunch of freeloader board members that they have introduced who have not brought even a single real project and recieve fat salaries while employee increments are discontinued. Maybe swapnil has tried to bring some sort of structure and due process to this company, along with the idea of AWS vouchers but it's too little and too late. Idk I can go on whole day, but I can only see company going downhill unless the management can take some hard decisions and fast.
