Full-time employees become eligible for company benefits on the 61st day of employment, and choosing to participate in benefit programs has no impact on an employee’s job status or continued employment.
The company offers work-from-home arrangements when appropriate for the role and business needs, and many positions are structured for long-term growth and stability.
Communication and leadership
Centex maintains an open-door culture where employees are encouraged to communicate concerns, ask questions, and share ideas directly with leadership, including the CEO.
Team members are expected to follow company policies, respond to directives, and communicate about workload or challenges so leaders can provide support, clarification, or additional training when needed.
When performance concerns arise, the company’s first focus is on coaching and support, and only when necessary does it move to formal discipline.
Performance expectations and integrity
Like any professional organization, Centex expects employees to be available during scheduled hours, complete assigned tasks, and accurately report time worked.
When someone consistently fails to be available, does not complete basic assignments, or does not communicate, leadership will investigate to understand what is happening and determine the right next steps.
If it is discovered that an employee has been misrepresenting hours worked or performing work for another company while on the clock, that behavior is considered a serious violation of trust and policy and can lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
