Pros
I worked at CDT for 2 years in an entry level job. I was given a great deal of autonomy and responsibility from day one, and felt trusted by my supervisors and the staff at large. The staff was open to mentoring me and helping me gain a better understanding of the issues they were working on. It was clear to me the organization and my fellow employees valued the effort I put into my job and I never felt disrespected or shut out. I count the people I worked with in my time at CDT as friends and I hope to have the chance to work with them again in the future. Further, they hired me knowing I was planning on leaving to obtain an advanced degree, and supported my fully in my pursuit.
Cons
There are limited options for entry level employees to move up, with most of the mid-level and senior staff having masters or law degrees.
