Pros

Complaints about the company seem to be coming from people who had no place in a sales job. The closing percentage can be annoying when you have customers coming back with questions or even to simply thank you. However, if you are unable to sell to 20 of every 100 people you see, sales is not for you. If you're struggling to hit goals, including closing percentage, you are not immediately terminated. Management will work with you for quite some time before termination is even brought up. What people need to understand is that this is a sales job. Your job isn't to take orders or fix phones, it is to ethically discover a need and offer a solution. Management is as flexible as possible with you, if you work hard and do you job well you can do fairly well, plenty of opportunities to move up. Not to mention, it offers great experience and can be an excellent step towards even bigger opportunities.

Cons

Some locations tend to be busier than others, goals are adjusted as such though. If you can't handle regular changes you will not do well, it's the nature of the business. A few small things but the pros far outweigh the cons.

Pros

Literally the only pro I can think of is that it sounds good on a resume being able to say you worked at "Verizon Wireless" and have sales experience. Well, I guess it also helps that if you work here, you'll definitely appreciate your next job more.

Cons

There is no structure as far as management goes. Very unprofessional and haphazardly run. Also, the company makes it almost near impossible to make commission, so don't be fooled by that "perk" in the job ad/interview. Barely any room for growth either, and in almost 3 loyal years working for them, I never got a raise. Very shady business tactics.
