Pros
Depending on your role, you can avoid doing much work. Other positions are overworked. Some roles may tackle interesting technical problems, but the company tends to lie about the details of the roles and place people in the grind without delivering on promised role specifics. Company is always hiring due to turnover, so if you are unemployed or truly desperate, this can be an opportunity for you.
Cons
* Toxic culture - abuse and bullying tolerated at all levels. * False job postings - They will NOT give you time to do the things your role describes. You will be forced into a grind that does not grow your career. * Unclear and shifting performance goals. * Not possible to grow a career here, not possible to get salary increases or bonuses. * Incredibly ignorant and micromanaging leadership. * All information is siloed, and abusive bullies hoard and hamper technical processes. * Anti-progress culture, "harass and annoy other teams into making changes they aren't given time to make" is an openly stated strategy. * Absolutely no regard for mental health and work/life balance. * Stock options do NOT have value due to transfer agreements including buy-back clauses. This company will cheat you out of as much money as it can.
