Pros
The people are amazing. This is truly a collaborative environment in which people want their colleagues to succeed. You have a lot of autonomy to decide how to best perform your job, and the company makes an effort to recognize great work. It really feels like this company is going somewhere, with a valuable product. It feels good to contribute to that success.
Cons
As with all small tech companies, there's a fair amount of chaos. Management is working on getting more systems and processes in place, including better avenues for employee communication. This is a time of change for Celigo, with a new product focus and many new hires last year; the advantage is that there's a lot to do, and it's an exciting time. The disadvantage is that there's a lot to do and it can feel more stressful than exciting. If you are the kind of person who dives in and makes their own way, you will love this place and thrive. If you need a lot of big-company-style structure and instruction, you'll be miserable here.
