The schedule is quite demanding. It is flexible to an extent of choosing your available hours but the schedule can change last minute and you are often asked to work overtime or pick up extra when they are short staffed and over booked. Sometimes you are scheduled very tightly from event to event and this is not considered when a trainee is scheduled with you.
The pay needs some improvement. The work you are expected to do is very important but at the same time I could be paid better as a cashier at Target or Amigos.
Communication needs vastly improved. Decisions are made that my team lead didn't even know about but we are expected to follow through on by upper management.
Employee recognition needs a make over. You can be recognized by participants if you happened to be scheduled to work closely and often with a particular study. There is an award for "Above and Beyond" but this only goes to top dogs of the company. A clinic employee of the month for recognition by your team leads or management would improve moral on busy days for the hard work you put in.
