Working for CateSpot was such a stressful and exhausting experience. Don't expect any pros here, because there are none. The only thing you'll gain from working here is learning what to avoid when looking for work.

The company is constantly losing employees every month, and it's all because of how terrible the work conditions here are. The equipment and technology the company uses are outdated. A lot of basic tasks are frustrating to accomplish because of it, and instead of looking for replacements, management forces employees to deal with it and make their jobs difficult. The work culture here is pretty toxic; expectations are high, but support is practically non-existent. Workloads are pretty overwhelming, and deadlines are often unrealistically tight, resulting in poor work-life balances. Employees are paid a low salary, and the benefits they receive aren't exactly great either

The hybrid work arrangement is a plus and offers some flexibility for employees. Kudos to the founders for maintaining a Work from Home option. Some colleagues are genuinely great people, and these individuals really help hold things together by supporting others and stepping up when needed. There are some medical benefits provided. Monthly allowance is given. The company appears relatively stable?

Leadership decisions can at times feel inconsistent, and certain situations seem to be handled in a more reactive or emotionally driven manner than expected. There have been instances where employees in senior positions were let go quite suddenly, which created confusion and concern among the team especially when their contributions had appeared significant. This made it difficult to fully understand how performance is being evaluated. While management encourages feedback, there can be a perception that speaking up or challenging decisions may come with risks. This has led some employees to be more cautious in how openly they share their views. Communication around company direction often feels unclear. Profits are always prioritized over anything else. Management do not think of the consequences or broader impact as long as it brings them more money. While generating revenue is a fundamental goal of any business, there are always more effective and thoughtful ways to achieve it. There have also been cases where new HiRes in key roles did not stay long, which raised questions internally about alignment and expectations. Due to the small team structure (often 2–4 people per team), anonymity in internal feedback can feel limited. This creates a difficult situation where employees may hesitate to provide detailed input, yet general feedback may not always be actionable. Because the team is so small, underperforming/ subpar operational executives remains protected by their managers. Can't blame them because the effort and consequences to replace one employee is very significant. Leave approvals for important personal or cultural occasions may not always be guaranteed due to team constraints, which can be frustrating for employees trying to plan ahead. Career progression opportunities appear limited, particularly as the company structure remains lean. The company benefits significantly from a handful of dedicated and supportive individuals. There is a concern that if these key people were to leave, it could have a noticeable impact on overall team morale and operations.
