Pros

Good paid time off policies that are usually very flexible when scheduled in advance. A good place to gain experience that can be taken elsewhere to where people are actually treated with respect.

Cons

Terrible communication among departments. No two departments have the same needed information at many given times. There is absolutely no potential for internal employee growth especially with advancement opportunities. Senior management has little to no faith in experienced employees who have tremendously helped the organization grow. All open higher level positions are posted on job boards weeks before they are announced internally, and external candidates are almost always chosen after interviews are made. Also senior management actively recruits former colleagues into positions that internal employees would never be considered for. Recruited external employees come in at higher pay scales than many employees who have been with the company up to a decade. High insurance premiums. Company retirement benefits could be better. Extremely low employee morale and because there is little room for advancement there is a lot of deceptive behavior among peer employees. Also the employees are fearful and have no trust in senior management. Managers are not good leaders and use coercion and micro managing when working with subordinates. They do not lead by example. Very "me first" culture. Departments refuse to cooperate and work in harmony with each other. They do not understand that collectively they represent one organization with the same goal. When problems arise the blame game occurs among every department and no one wants to claim responsibility. Management receives bonuses when goals are met but no recognition the employees who actually do the work. Horrible HR. When addressing concerns little is done to help. Horrible work to life ratio. Overtime is always the norm and it is usually attributed to poor prior planning. Extremely unfair performance reviews and merit increases are lower than the increased cost of living due to inflation.

Pros

The team is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive, which has made it easy to learn and feel comfortable asking questions. There is a strong focus on training and collaboration, helping me feel safe, well prepared, and confident in my role. I also appreciate the benefits, which support a good work-life balance.

Cons

One area for improvement is the flexibility for new employees regarding remote work hours.

Pros

PTO (if you could actually use it) is top tier

Cons

Don’t even know where to begin. Understaffed like you couldn’t believe. Unrealistic expectations for workload. Micromanagement to another level. Work life balance doesn’t exist. If you bring it up you’ll be told “that’s just the job”
