Pros

The developers (excluding the CTO and CEO) and the people in the marketing were quite friendly. The snack selection provided in the kitchen isn't too bad if you like to snack often. The health insurance benefits provided to the employees are pretty decent too.

Cons

The CEO can be pretty condescending unless you write code the exact way he wants it written. He also gives very limited feedback(if any at all) on what is wrong so a solution can be found. Furthermore, the CTO can also intimidating, and somewhat opinionated. I genuinely felt bad for some of the other developers when I would hear her talking to them. Her tone makes it sound like she's ripping someone a new one almost constantly. They have extremely high expectations for the projects, and will treat you like an idiot instead of trying to help you if you get stuck or don't understand a part of the project. Which seem like very unrealistic expectation when you're first starting out at said job.

Pros

I was able to hone my abilities in cloud deployments and microservices architecture during my tenure as a backend software engineer. Every project assisted me in developing professionally while resolving challenging technical issues in the real world.

Cons

Initially, integrating some legacy code modules was more difficult than anticipated.

Pros

Absolutely nothing at all. The high turnover at CaseGuard exists for a clear reason. No one wants to stay in a place that feels this hostile and exhausting. Anyone considering applying would be far better off pursuing other opportunities.

Cons

- Abuse and exploitation define the experience here. - Expectations are wildly unrealistic, forcing people to push beyond reasonable limits while receiving pay that feels insulting and support that is completely nonexistent. - Those in charge show no concern for how difficult things become, focusing only on squeezing out as much profit as possible, regardless of the cost to everyone involved. - Effort is not rewarded in any meaningful way. Trying to stand out only results in more work being piled on, with no recognition to match. - There is no tolerance for even the smallest mistake, and any slip-up, no matter how minor, leads to public embarrassment that strips away any sense of dignity.
