Pros
One of the things that stands out to me is the supportive team atmosphere - my colleagues are always willing to lend a hand or offer advice when needed. Additionally, I appreciate that my colleagues are open to feedback and suggestions, which creates a culture of continuous improvement. Overall, I feel like I'm part of a team that truly cares about each other's success and growth, and that's a great feeling to have in the workplace.
Cons
Working at CARRO was a rollercoaster of emotions. I joined less than a year, and we've already been through two rounds of retrenchment - apparently, they claimed it's just 'headcount reshuffling.' There's no townhall to the retrenchment announcement, no financial updates at all. As if that wasn't bad enough, upper management is notoriously opaque, so we never really know what's going on. On top of all that, deadlines are constantly looming, and everyone is always rushing to get things done. Ironically, the one time I felt 'free' in the company was when I was accused of not doing anything - even though I was just doing my job. Overall, if you're looking for a stable and transparent work environment, this might not be the place for you.
