Pros
Nothing good comes out of this.
Cons
- Amidst all the glitter and fanfare, this company is just a well funded empty shell, which is a lovely view from the outside if you are an investor. But any investor would be appalled to see what is inside. - The CEO is apparently amazing at fund raising, but knows nuts about running a company or even how to be CEO. - Upper management has half a brain and are always squabbling for scraps of power but are given minimal by the CEO. They do not have any sense of how the car trade works and how to tackle teething problems. - Upper management thrives on sheer misery of their staff and gives zero encouragement or acknowledgement. - The finance team and HR team cannot tell their left feet from their right, often stumbling around as if the company is brand new. - Backstabbing, red tape and bureaucracy is rampant among all ranks. - Mistakes made are usually penalised heavily. - Ideas and initiative are slapped down with a heavy hand, ridiculed more often then not. - There is no room for growth, expect your role to change 5-7 times over several months, linearly. - Pay is ALWAYS late. - Job security is non existent, would not trust a company that can retrench 10-15 staff from a single business unit with just 1 month notice. - Would not advice anybody to join this company. Toxicity is what you will get.
