Pros
The Drum does a great job of hiring genuinely good people who always have each other’s backs, regardless of workload.
Cons
They fail to replace employees long after they leave, leaving remaining staff to absorb the additional workload “until a replacement is hired,” which in reality becomes a permanent, uncompensated part of their role. This also results in significant loss of institutional knowledge and expertise.
