Pros
-clear product market fit
-mission driven, the product is making lives better and solving a real world problem that is heading into a crisis
-people first culture, the leaders care about their employees and end users
-Founders have a very strong product vision, they are so honest and empathetic with the team and I get the sense that they truly care, have strong morals and the hardest working people on the team
-company is doing well and I can see a clear path to success
-really strong team, humble, friendly, collaborative, hard working
-overall good work life balance and time off policy but does have ebbs and flows that come with high growth companies
Cons
-remote first company, could be a pro for some but not me
-first time founders, they are highly capable, openly listen to feedback from team/VC and first to admit they don't know something but the inexperience does cause some delays/hiccups when building processes and making decisions
-stereotypical startup stuff like lots of ambiguity, process changes, teams of 1 with minimal to no backup, lack of proper people processes (although HR was hired earlier this year)
