Pros

The office culture is one of focusing upon quality customer care. Management is credentialed, knowledgeable, and fair. Regardless of economic times, the consistency in meeting employment needs of its Region 1 citizens, Veterans, and businesses with preparedness is paramount.

Cons

I do not have any notable Cons.

Pros

Working here lets you meaningfully support job seekers and youth in the community. Coworkers tend to be helpful, mission-driven, and diverse. Schedules are generally stable, and the agency offers good public-sector benefits. There are occasional opportunities for training or tuition reimbursement.

Cons

Compensation may not match South Florida's high cost of living, and staffing shortages can lead to stress or burnout. Promotion paths are limited or slow. Management experience is uneven—some direct supervisors are excellent, but higher-level leadership can be bureaucratic or impersonal.

Pros

* Huge demand for duties with low requirements. Great place to learn skills. * Work life balance can be good if you're part of the incrowd.

Cons

* Inept upper management - Beyond front line supervisors, management is often out of touch with the requirements and what they are asking for * High demand requirements from the states * Culture of secrecy, this is both to the public and the front-line staff. For example CareerSource is required to wages but most regions are actively hiding the wages of staff through intentional obfuscation of their website and have completely separated out the massive salaries of "leadership" into entirely different locations. When these are discovered... management panicked. * Significant turnover. * Multiple investigations in the past.
