Pros

Not a difficult position and paid a decent wage.

Cons

My managers in the office didn’t know anything about the property. They couldn’t give a tour if they had to. They would all talk negatively about other staff members who weren’t there to defend themselves. The community manager was not pleasant most of the time. They would set extremely unrealistic goals for us to complete and would be upset if we didn’t complete it. The core values were also never followed by the managers

Cardinal Group Companies Response

A major focus for 2023 is around upskilling managers onsite to be people managers vs process managers. Most of us who stick with this industry are programmed early to learn more about the value of the asset and often aren't trained to realize the value of the asset is a direct result of the people like you who bring their best each day. While I can't guarantee a stop to attrition in the short term, I can guarantee the emphasis that will be placed on ensuring you as well as your leaders will be upskilled to work alongside eachother in a valuable way.

Pros

- Room for growth and promotions - Job security - Most of your coworkers are easy to work with

Cons

- Work life balance: depends on who your white label is and if you work strictly for cardinal they have a better work life balance. - Turnover rate in corporate - Learn as you go / 0 training in every role unless if you have a good manager - CYA mentality - High expectations / sometimes unrealistic goals - When corporate comes into town they are never hands on due to having too many meetings in a day
