I absolutely loved working here! Wonderful atmosphere! Very friendly staff and students and I loved it.

Communication can be improved among the admin and teachers as well.

Solid admin- Admin keeps high and consistent expectations for staff and students and listens to teachers. Students are kept accountable for their behavior and admin backs up the teachers the students and to parents. The school is working hard to improve its reputation and staff makes solid decisions that are best for students. The staff is great for the most part and works hard. The company culture is improving.

Staff that does well often has to take on the work or responsibilities of the staff who doesn’t. There is a high percentage of students who struggle and have hard home lives which means that the work load is very hard to raise their scores and get them on grade level. Pay is low even for teaching and is not always transparent. Raises are hard to come by. The charter school structure often means that choices are made by the corporation and not by leadership. Class sizes are high and decisions are made to bring profits.
