Pros

I always look for companies that encourage learning and developing new skills, and Carbon does this exceptionally well. I really appreciate the company’s sustainable approach and its growing focus on social value. Volunteering and meaningful team time are also key parts of Carbon Creative’s culture. Most importantly, I feel that my opinions are valued and that I’m able to actively contribute to the company’s growth.

Cons

It’s not a fully remote role, but I think being in the office helps improve communication and collaboration with the team.

Pros

We take on some amazing clients, winning and retaining them with our company ethics, Carbon values and the mix of personalities that results in some amazing work. I’ve been here since I left university and had no 'real world' experience. I was taught on the job by various department leads and manager and throughout my years here have adapted and grown in my own skills whilst still influencing growth. I’ll never take for granted the working environment we get to create in and it’s so exciting to be a part of an organisation always pushing for more and evolving with the times.

Cons

The working environment we get to create in is very high paced and can feel pressured at times. This is the norm with all agencies and needs to be considered before anyone joins an agency organisation, not just Carbon.

Pros

Carbon Creative is a genuinely welcoming and positive place to work. The team are lovely, supportive and highly knowledgeable, creating an environment where you feel encouraged to do your best work. My role as a Marketing and Studio Assistant offers a great balance of creative, strategic and organised tasks, with plenty of variety day to day. There’s a strong focus on learning and development, with clear transparency around progression and opportunities. Being employee-owned adds a real sense of shared purpose, and the work itself feels meaningful and exciting.

Cons

None so far – it’s been a great experience.
