Pros
Finish early in a Friday, just like the majority of other factories in parkmore some nice staff there that can have the craic and make your day fly by.
Cons
They removed my last review as it was presumably too scathing for one of members of management... not to worry. I'll type it out again without initials this time so not to offend anyone. Unfortunately the pay differences between staff who are doing the exact same job is shocking. For example a girl in QC could be paid minimum wage or €11.30 though she is working there a year and a half only to have a new employee with little or no experience paid €13 to do the exact same work and hours. Another issue which has been raised multiple times to management recently; staff speaking different languages around English speaking staff and refusing to communicate with them. There is a language policy in place in this factory. There have been multiple complaints made about this to management in the last few months now and it's constantly being ignored. I have often spent my day working in my area without a single word being said to me in English and no updates given to me regarding my work. This is a very isolating feeling. The divide between different nationalities is very clear in caragh prescision. The worst places foe this is QC QS and shipping. But the worst of it all would be a certain manager targeting staff and how often he calls them into this office giving them warnings. It's amazing how a man who is never present on the shop floor he is managing targets so many staff. Any issues or concerns raised with him aren't addressed because the little man doesn't matter here. He is quite frankly a bully who is pushing staff out the door. It's a tactic of make work miserable so we won't have to fire people, keep pushing them out. Caragh prescision is a constant revolving door. They can't keep staff.
