Pros

Benefits are pretty comprehensive, they match up to 6% of your pay going to a 401K, and you have the ability to buy wholesale vehicles that customers have traded in. If you like cars, it can be a really fun job because you get to drive and work on pretty much every car that comes in the store.

Cons

Management's tone is aggressive and full of micromanagement, salesman come and go so often that it is hard to keep track of everyone in that department who interacts with us, and you have to work outside in poor weather quite often throughout the seasons, Be ready to spend part of your paycheck on Carmax branded clothing and winter gear too because they don't provide that for you, but you will be required to wear it.

Pros

Remote work, first 2 weeks of the 2 month training, offers sick time before PTO rolls in

Cons

Little to no worklife balance, toxic positivity (like when they called the meeting about taking away our bonuses “exciting news” and tried to gaslight us as to why this was a good thing), extreme micromanagement, listening to our headsets constantly without us knowing, AI rating our metrics, unrealistic expectations, you basically do 4 jobs in one (at Carvana, appraisals / selling, financial applications and documents / EPUs, sales and customer service were ALL DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS.
