Pros
Pay can be good compared to traditional university-based peer roles
Cons
They have no idea what they are doing. They over promise and under deliver at the corporate/regional level and leave site level employees looking like fools caught in the middle with clients. They run very, very lean (read: cheap) and that mantra makes for less than ideal service delivery to students and clients. They knowingly send one woman from corporate who is WELL-KNOWN to not be client-centric, abrasive, and generally unpleasurable to be around and are surprise when clients don't want to work with them anymore. Additionally, preferential treatment is given to LGBTQ+ people because people at the corporate level are that. I would not normally have an issue with this as I am queer, but the way it is managed makes me and others feel uneasy.
