I think senior business leaders handled the unfortunate and unavoidable need to respond to the drastic change in the economic environment in a thoughtful, respectful, and planful way. Business need has to drive how the company is managed...or the health of the entire company becomes at risk.
Cons
If you're focused on titles and "career advancement," this may not be the place for you. Satisfaction comes from devlopment that is internally driven and externally acknowledged and rewarded with additional opportunities.
