Pros
Close to LRT and MRT.
Lots of food choices around, though mostly non-halal.
Some colleagues are nice.
Cons
The biggest red flag in this company is definitely the no-phone policy. You have to lock your phone away until 5PM and you don’t even get it back during lunch, which honestly makes no sense in this day and age. Most places are cashless now and some restaurants even require QR ordering, so it just feels unnecessarily controlling. They will tell you that it's to protect confidentiality but it's obviously not.
The environment is also pretty toxic. Getting yelled at is normal here. There’s very little constructive feedback. Mostly blaming, scolding, and finger-pointing whenever something goes wrong.
A lot of things are still done manually too, including leave applications. Leave approvals take forever, so don’t expect to confidently plan holidays or personal trips.
Benefits are bare minimum, and they’re probably one of the few corporate companies still making people work Saturdays. Barely anything gets done on Saturdays anyway, so it just feels like wasted time. Management also doesn’t really encourage work-life balance. People get judged for leaving on time as if they’re leaving early.
Also, interns are asked to leave positive reviews, which explains why the ratings are at both extremes. Too obvious.
